I’ve spotted this necklace on so many celebrities recently and I’m completely in love with it. It is such a feminine yet cool necklace..
I found it at Singer22 in several different sizes, and best of all – it is not crazy expensive!! :D

We have James’s sister visiting so we are out and about which unfortunately leaves little time for blogging, but I just wanted to quickly show you what I got in the mail box yesterday because I’m so excited that I finally got all of them!!

These are the ones that I was missing, now I just need to depot them….. :)
We just received the craziest amount of low carb products (64 units!!) and I can’t wait to try them all out!! I ordered the products from lowcarbmegastore.com as that seemed to be the place with the biggest selection. Since we are just getting into this low carb fad that seems to be on everyones lips (he he), we have absolutely no idea what products are better than others so we ordered everything that looked delicious to try them all. Let the fun begin!
So you probably noticed that I went overboard on the cherry candies as we are both rather fond of them and I could easily imagine a fight of epic porportions involving blood, sweat and tears as we battled over a solitary bag before it explodes all over the floor as we tear it apart. Even with the number that I ordered we both still went for the same bag first!
Sugar free, gluten free, less calories… doesn’t sound like the kind of candy I like..
I must admit they do look very similar…
Wow! It is exactly the same!! So delicious.. I’m so happy we bought so many bags of them. Quote from James: “When it tastes the same, why would anyone ever eat the real sugary ones?”.
As we were unpacking everything I came up with a brilliant plan. I will make a little review with close up pictures and our marks out of ten of each and every product. I will then store all of the reviews in a page in the menu bar. A reviewing page is something that would´ve been very helpful to me before I ordered all of this and I know some of you are very curious about low carb products as well. What do you think, would this be helpful?
The autumn collections are out and I can’t help my self.. I want it all!
Normally autumn trends are all about brown and soft colours, bu this year the colours are still with us from spring, especially brightly coloured pants. These three are my favorites; Hot Red from J Brand, Fresh in Yellow from Current Elliott and Deep in the Blue from J Brand. Love them!! I might treat myself with one of them, or maybe two.. Gah, I want all of them!!
I’m so stupid! Of course I fall in love with things from a store that don’t send to Monaco. Maybe I’ll send these beauties home to mummy in Norway.. Serious cravings! The shoes and bra are from Nelly.com, I know they send to at least Norway, Sweden and Germany so if you live in any of those countries you should definitely check those out. I actually already own the bra, but I’ve been searching for another one for ages as it is the best strapless bra there is. It is made with little hands inside that pushes anything up even if you are quite heavy on the front ;) The beautiful golden clutch is from Asos.
Leather pants, YSL Belle de Jour clutch, Ivory embellished clutch, Brown pad lock bag, Oversized knitted sweater and Jumpsuit.
Other trends autumn/winter is bringing upon us are brown, camel and caramel colours, leather pants and shorts and oversized knitted sweaters which I’m happy to embrace pared with nothing but a nice candle light dinner and a romantic movie… mmm, I’ve always liked autumn :)
I’m trying to take more care of my feet with switching out the sky highs with some cute flats and I’m loving these.. Again, I can not decide and i think I might end up with all three as all of them would look so cute with the Chanel hand bag.. decisions decisions ;)
Which of these are your favorite? Have you started thinking about new clothes for autumn?

James is off to London tomorrow so we wanted to make the most of the day – meaning beach and cupcakes! Luckily the beach is only 3 minutes away and luckily for James I had some cupcake decorations that I was keen to experiment with :)
Ah, lazy days with the love of my life at the beach are the best!
Not exactly low carb, but you’ve got to live a little sometimes.. right? I was planning on taking more pictures but before I knew it they were all gone.. :)

James will only be gone for two days, but it always feels like much longer. Just after he comes home from London he is off to Dubai for a couple of days as well. As you know I normally go with him, but when it’s less than 4-5 days it doesn’t really make any sense. Plus, I have a lot of new pretty eyeshadows from Mac to keep me busy with and lots of excersising to catch up on after all of these cupcakes!! :O Oh, and have you girls seen the promo pics of the new Book of Shadows IV – filled with butterflies? It consists of 16 eyeshadows which of 10 are brand new plus other free goodies! :D I want it!!
I hope you lovelies had a beautiful day filled with joy and laughter <3

“The inimitable allure of true stardom is yours: all of the glitz & glamour synonymous with your favourite Dressing Room divas in a series of shades for Eyes & Lips.” – Mac Cosmetics
I just couldn’t resist..
Swatches will come :)
Low carb is in the wind like never before and now, having made some changes to my diet, I really understand why. I have so much more energy, sleep better and don’t get those annoying instant hunger pangs that carbs give you. James has also found that he is feeling much better without carbs, only he is finding it difficult to not have the pizzas and hamburgers so today I tried to make burger buns inspired by all kinds of low carb receipes – and there are a lot of them out there.
I ended up using:
James is being stupid…
The burgers turned out delicious :)
We have ordered a lot of stuff from the lowcarbmegastore that should arrive any day now, and I’m so excited!!!
What do you think about low carb food?

We are going out for sushi tonight and as usual I can’t decide what to wear :)

I’m torn between these two. Blue from Stella McCartney or black and white from Elise Ryan? I really love both of them!!
Hope you’re all having a lovely friday sweeties! xx
Today I had a really selfish hour in the bathroom, and it felt wonderful! I don’t know why, but I always think to my self that it takes a really long time but actually it doesn’t need to take a long time! This is how I did it today:
Part 1: Hair mask, exfoliation and feet:

Hair mask: I’ve been using this two step hair mask, Kérastase Resistance Forcintense, for several years and it really is second to none! It builds up the hair with a shot of proteins and leaves it moisturised, soft and shiny. This is what you want if you are struggeling with chemically damaged hair as your hair is in desperate need of proteins. HQhair sells Kérastase Forcintense for £25.90 which is a lot cheaper than buying it at the hair dressers, but LookFantastic sells it for only £22.05 which is a bargain:)
Scrub: While I had the first tube of mask in my hair I did the exfoliation. MD Formulations contains both exfoliating beads and glycolic acid so you really get a thorough scrub and it is completely safe to use on your face as well. I normally leave it on for a couple of minutes to make sure the glycolic acid gets its magic done properly. This is definitaly the best scrub that is out there for both face and body in my opinion! It is yours for from £23.80 FeelUnique including shipping.
Foot scrub: While having tube #1 of the mask in my hair and the exfoliation on my skin I scrubbed my feet with a exfoliation scrub for feet and hands from OPI which smells amazing and leaves the feet perfectly soft. You can get the OPI Royal Verbana Scrub at LookFantastic for £17.70.
After feet were scrubbed I showered off the mask and exfoliation and applied tube #2 of the mask. While this mask was working I did my shaving. Boom! All that done in only 20 minutes :)
Part 2: Teeth whitening, moisturising and selftan:

Teeth whitening: I don’t like the apparance of too white and obviously bleeched teeth so I like to use these strips once in a while to just fresh up the colour of my own. You are ment to use them once a day for 7 or 14 days, but I only use them once or twice every 2nd week and that is enough for me. Make sure you get the strips pressed inbetween the gaps of your teeth as well :) I got mine from a pharmacy but a quick search on google gives you plenty of options so it shouldn’t be a problem to find a place close to you.
Moisturising pt 1: While the strips were on their place in my mouth I used a heavy cream on the really dry parts of my body like knees and elbows and around my ancles and hands to make sure that the selftan won’t get uneven in these areas. Unfortunately this moisturiser is only available in Norway at this time, but the products are amazing so I’m sure they will ship outside of Norway once they have grown larger which I’m confident they will as they are growing bigger in Norway for every day!
Moisturising pt2 : After the heavy moisturiser I used a slightly lighter moisturiser on the rest of my body. Moisturiser is important to use to get an even tan from the selftan, but you don’t want to use one that is too heavy.
Selftan: After letting the moisturiser sink in for a couple of minutes ( and drinking plenty of water which is a big part of beauty as well), I started to apply the selftan. Like most beauty geeks I love St.Tropez Selftan Mousse which has won plenty of awards for a reason. It applies smoothly and doesn’t smell as horrible as many others do thanks to a special technology which removes 70% of the aroma. The main reason to why I love this so much is because it gives such a true olive tanned colour that everyone wants, no orange at all! It dries in 30 sec so be sure to wash your hands often or use gloves! This Mousse is available at LookFantastic for £26.10 and at FeelUnique for only £25.50 including delivery!
Hands are often a problem area for most people as it is difficult to get it even with out getting unnaturally tanned palms. I have found the solution!! Scrub your hands intensely untill all colour is gone (I use the soft side of a foot file to file away the rest) and take a small brush to apply the selftan around the hands. Isn’t it brilliant? No stains in your hands, and perfectly even hands and wrists :) Boom again! All that done in 20 min as well!

The last 20 minutes I spent on eyebrow grooming which I will upload a post about later. So much done and in just one hour, I feel amazing!!
Are you good at taking time off for self care?

I am such a sucker for Chanel and I’m not even going to try to justify this purchase because £30 (and that is duty free) for an eyeshadow quad I’m never going to touch is just ridiculous. Yes, I said never going to touch. After some years of obsessive collecting of Chanel quads I’ve found that these quads from Chanel have become more like a work of art to me than actual makeup. I have some limited edition quads I really wish I had never touched as they are so unbelievably beautiful in the case but not always as good on the eye lid as other brands like Mac, Urban Decay ++. After seeing Lisa Eldridge’s video about vintage makeup I was so happy as I realized that I’m not the only one with this absurd habit of collecting beautiful makeup! :)

The Rouge Coco Shine lipstick in #48 Évasion I got from a very sweet friend who called my boyfriend to ask if there was anything he knew I wanted from the airport as he is well aware of my stupid makeup addiction. Surprisingly, as I thought all my ramblinsg about makeup went straight over James’s head, he remembered that I mentioned something about a lipstick from Chanel which I also wrote about in the review of my other two Rouge Coco Shine lipsticks. I suspect he took a quick look at the blog to see if I had mentioned anything, but I still gave him brownie points for that one!

While the two other lipsticks are in the bright pink-family, Évasion is more of a pinky-nude colour. It is such a gorgous colour for smokey eyes and I can’t wait to wear it so instead of doing boring swatches I’ll show it to you in a makeup look so that you get a better understanding of what it really looks like ;)

I bet a lot of you thought Mac Cosmetics was my favorite makeup brand, and in terms of quality of eyeshadows it definitely is, but Chanel has a special place in my makeup drawers! I think Chanel does the best lip products, really good foundations and powders, and pretty good mascaras as well. When it comes to packaging they are second to none and who doesn’t appreciate a bit of luxury in everyday life?
Which make up brand is your favorite?
