As I was doing my makeup it suddenly hit me it’s the end of the month already, which means it’s time for a summary of my favourite makeup products of the month :D

Eyes: Lancôme Precious Cells mascara in Brown, Mac Coquette eyeshadow and Bobbi Brown eye definer brush on brows, Mac concealer in nw20, Naked palette 1 and Naked palette 2.
Face: Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser, Mac msf natural in medium, Chanel bronzer, Sigma brushes for blush and contour, Nars Dolce Vita blush, Nyx Taupe blush for contouring cheeks.
Lips: Mac Bombshell, Chanel Super lipstick and lipgloss (Limited Editions).
Nails: Chanel Nouvelle Vague, Chanel Mimosa, Chanel Orange Fizz and Chanel Morning Rose.
I’ve basically had a month of quite natural looking makeup, with a pop of colour on lips and nails :)

I hope you’re having a wonderful Wednesday (and February 29th), I’m going to collapse on the sofa and watch TV. I’m loving that we’ve finally got SKY :D

Oh my, I want this pleated maxi skirt from Halston Heritage so bad. It’s the perfect maxi skirt. I spent hours online last night searching for a cheaper alternative, and although most coral and pink maxi skirts actually are already sold out, there just aren’t any that can compare to the beauty of this one anyway. Imagine this skirt in summer flowing around the body like water as you stroll through the beautiful streets of Paris on a romantic get away with your prince charming by your side.
I have to admit, the skirt makes me feel like I’m five years old all over again.
My first fashion addiction were dresses and skirts that would flow around my body as I twirled around like a ballerina – the bigger the skirt and flow, the better. As soon as I had the chance I would sneak off and dress up in that special dress that I wasn’t allowed to wear except for special occasions, and I would twirl and twirl and twirl for hours :D I guess some things never change, as Kate Spade said, playing dress up starts at age five and never really ends.
Skirt – Halston Heritage // blouse – Zara // shoes – Ruthie Davis (love all the shoes!) // clutch – Anya Hindmarch // watch – Michael Kors // Infinity ring

You need:
- 60 g butter
- 25 g powder erythritol (sukrinmelis fungerer sikkert også)
- 75 g very good dark chocolate
- 4-5 drops liquid of stevia
- 1 egg, room temperature
- 1 tbsp Vanilla soy protein bake mix
Step 1:

Measure up the butter, chocolate and Erythritol.
Step 2:

Melt the three together and get rid of any lumps. Let the mixture cool down to room temperature, and add drops of stevia untill you think it’s sweet enough. I used 4-5 drops.
Step 3:

Seperate the egg yolk from the egg white.
Step 4:

Add 1tbsp soy protein bake mix and the egg yolk. Alternate a little of each for best result.
Step 5:

Whisk egg white and gently fold it into the mix.
Place in the midle of a fan oven on 150 degrees, for 20-25 minutes. Turn off oven and leave it in for 15 minutes. The cake is finished when you can stick a toothpick in and it comes out dry.
I know you’re probably dying to try the cake at this point, but let the cake cool down. In the meantime you can make the frosting and decide what kind of decoration you want :)

Cream Cheese protein frosting:
You need:
- Cream Cheese
- Powder Erythritol
- A couple drops of Liquid Stevia Vanilla Creme
- Red colour (optional)
I found this amazing cream cheese, try to find something similar. The higher the protein the better, the lower carbohydrate the better.

Step 1:
Beat the cream cheese together with a spoon of powder erythritol, and add a couple drops of stevia vanilla creme untill you’r ehappy with the sweetness. If you want you can add food colouring as well like I did.
EDIT:
Stevia and Stevia Vanilla Creme can be found

Vanilla soy protein bake mix and erythritol can be found

Enjoy!!

This is the spot I was telling you about on Sunday when James and I stopped to have a picnic. What an amazing little treasure it is, right? We sat on top of the edge with our legs hanging just above the sea and the breeze of sea water splashing in our face. I can’t wait for summer to come and when we can actually jump in.
Today I continued along the coast towards my usual spot right on the tip of the Cap :D It’s the best feeling in the world to collapse underneath the rays of the sun.

As I was chilling, this little guy came up to me and he was soo close that I actually got up and moved terrified that he would attack me haha. I’m obviously not the only one loving this spot ;D

There are perfect little spots like this all along the coast, and the view.. c’est magnifique!

That’s Monaco from a distance. Lots of tall buildings protected by the tall mountains surrounding it, with a warm wind from the desert on the other side.

I just love sitting as close to the water as possible. Today however I might have pushed it a little bit too far as I climbed down towards the water where the rocks are less smooth. I wanted to splash some salt water in my face like a real bad ass..

This is the part where the headline of the post makes sense because you’ll never guess what happend next…

I sat down and the rock took a big bite of my pants right on the midle of my bad ass bottom! (picture to the left is an illustration taken on smoother and nicer rocks hee hee). Now that the weather has become so warm I didn’t bring anything other than my phone and keys, meaning I had no jumper to tie around my waist. Aarrghh.. what to do??

Luckily the pants are quite high in the waist so I managed to fold it over, but I promise you.. I have never ran that fast back home :D
It’s been a while since I did a surf through my favourite online shops, and so naturally I found a few items the greedy little shopper in me now desperately craves.

I’m in serious risk of having to click home a few of these as I actually feel I deserve it. In fact, I feel that we all deserve a thing or two now and then. You see, whenever I achieve a goal of some kind I like to allow myself to buy something pretty. It’s important to take care of one self.
I hope you’re all having a great Monday! I’m so sorry I have been lousy at responding to your comments lately, I feel awful, but just so you know I am reading them all as they come in. The comments tick in to my phone as you write them so you are always with me :D I have spent some serious time sorting out boring stuff behind the scenes so that the blog will upload/download quicker as well as getting rid of unnecessary junk that builds up.
If you follow me on Twitter you will know that I manage to bake a cake without flour and sugar this weekend, and for the first time of my kitchens history the selective eating disordered James couldn’t tell the difference between this and a cake made of sugar and flour. I’m pretty proud as I came up with the recipe all by myself. I’ll post a recipe with pictures soon ;D
Lots of kisses XXX

The first Naked palette from Urban Decay was sold out for months, and quickly became the worlds best selling eyeshadow palette of all time (if you haven’t seen my review of the first palette, you can see it here). Needless to say that this palette has been highly anticipated :)

The first four shades are warm, the next four are neutral shades and the last four are cooler shades.

You get 12 matte and shimmery neutral eyeshadow of which 5 shades are brand new. The palette also comes with a full size shadow/crease brush and a mini Lip Junkie Lipgloss in the pinky-brown shade Naked. On first glance it seemed that this palette was divided into one half of warm tones, and one half of cool tones which I think is very clever as the last palette was very warm and golden.
Now it’s time to get Naked! :D

- Foxy: The perfect matte nude shade. I love using it to blend out colours on the lid to get an even transistion up to the brow bone for a perfect smokey eye.
- Half Baked: This shadow was included in the last Naked palette too, but I think it’s ok because it’s a beautiful golden colour.
- Bootycall: The ridiculous name aside, this light shimmery pink is so lovely in the inner corners of the eyes to really brighten the eyes. NEW!
- Chopper: This is a coppery shadow with chunky silver glitter. Similar texture to Sidecar, which means lots of fall out. The colour is absolutely stunning though.

- Tease: The second of the three matte shades in the palette. This is a slightly more darker and reddish shade than the browns in the last palette. It’s a must have for green eyed girls. NEW!
- Snakebite: A beautiful golden brown shade. Personally I think this is one of the prettiest shades. NEW!
- Suspect: This is also a really pretty shade. It’s kind of like a topey shimmery shade. I love it!
- Pistol: A very interesting brownish silver, also a favourite of mine! Because of the duo effect I think it would be really pretty even just on its own.

- Verve: A silvery pinky highlight colour. Probably the one I like the least.
- YDK: A cool shimmery bronze, beautiful!
- Busted: A dark shimmery plummy brown, the perfect smokey eye colour for green eyes. NEW!
- Blackout: Finally! The star of the palette. Every palette should have a matte black that applies as dark as you want it. LOVE!
The flat brush is the same as the one in the previous palette. The fluffy brush is very similar to Mac 222 in shape. Quality wise it’s not my cup of tea.
What I like:
I like that it contains both shimmery and matte shades. I’m especially fond of the nude, Foxy, and the black, Blackout. I also like that there are both cool and warm shades. As for the packaging I’m jumping up and down for the fact that they’ve changed the horrible velour packaging they used for the last palette, to this tin case. It’s much easier to keep it clean this way! The big mirror inside is also a major improvement. As for the double sided brush I think it’s a nice touch as opposed to the single flat brush they included in the second edition of the first palette. Being able to blend the colours properly is so important for a nice finish.
What I don’t like:
Not much to be honest. If anything I would prefer it if they included the darker matte brown, Buck, in this palette too. A warm matte brown is always a good shade to have. I’m also a bit sad that they have replaced the primer for a lipgloss as a primer makes so much more sense, especially if you haven’t used a primer before.
Do you need this if you already have the first Naked palette?
The first Naked palette has a few shades (mainly the matte browns) that I can not live without. However, this palette also have a few shades that I’ve been missing in the first palette. I’m clearly talking about the matte nude and the matte black, but the there are also a few others that I really love (Snakebite, Suspect, Pistol and Busted). I think the palettes complement eachother so well as there are several shades that are so beautiful together. If you’re only getting one, get this one. If you already have the previous palette, get this one if you prefer cooler shades, if you travel a lot or if you’re just a hopeless makeup addict like myself :)
I got mine from BeautyBay

The weather was magnificent today so James and I went for a walk and found a spot of pure paradise halfway to the spot I normally walk to. Neither one of us brought any phones or cameras so I wasn’t able to capture the beauty for you, but we both fell completely in love with this secret little spot so next time we’re there I’ll take lots of pictures!! Untill then, picture this: A natural jetty surrounded by water, turquoise water, white splash, breeze of salt water, warm sun, fishes, picnic, smiles and love! Aaaah, just describing it brings the biggest smile to my face! And even though the face mask which is now completely dry is tightening the skin around my face, making it feel rather uncomfortable to smile, I just can’t wipe it off! If you ever come to Monaco you have to promise me to walk along the coast towards Menton and you’ll see why I’m acting like a giggly 14 year old who’s just been kissed for the first time.
Anyway, back to the facemask and the strawberries.
Because what better way to finish off a healthy bubbly Sunday morning than with a charcoal mask and strawberries to go with it? These are my first strawberries this year, and even though I’ve stubbornly insisted to James in the past that Norwegian strawberries are the best and no other strawberries in the world can even be compared, I must admit that these strawberries are not bad at all. Might have to buy some more tomorrow because the basket next to me is now empty :)
But first of all I’m now going to finish the review of the Naked palette 2 which I will publish as soon as it’s done. I’m seeing lots of positive weather reports on Facebook these days, so I hope you’ve enjoyed the sun just as much as I have today! Yay for a sunny Sunday ;D

I started the day with a nice walk along the coast and although my foot was slowing me down, it was nice to move my body again. The path I walk has little offshoots down to the water and I couldn’t resist the temptation of going down one today. It’s such a nice feeling being so close to the water and the way it splashed up againt the rocks I was sitting on made me tempted to jump in. But I didn’t. Even though I’m Norwegian I’m still a big wuss when it comes to bathing in cold water. When summer comes I’m so bringing a bikini with me :D
After the walk James and I went for lunch in the Grimaldi Forum and went for a little stroll in the sun. Me still in flats obviously, hence the awkward pose :D
I hope you’re all having a great start of the weekend! Thank you all so much for nominating me to the BloggAwards!! <3
Ps: I’ve almost finished the review of the 2nd Naked palette now, so it will be up sometime this weekend ;)
Ps2: I’ve spoken to the host of the server I’m using and asked them to increase the download speed to make the blog refresh faster, is it still slow or do you notice a difference?
