Happy Monday!!
Last night I lay awake in the bed until early morning hours twisting and turning due to a constant sneezing, back pain, runny nose and watering eyes – all the dreadful symptoms of the flu. When I lived in Norway I used to catch the flu every single winter, sometimes even several times, but since I moved to Monaco I don’t think I’ve had the flu once. Had it not been for the early appointment this morning I would’ve stayed in bed. Darn you Apple.
Some of the iphone 4s has a software issue resulting in a non functioning wifi, and of course I had one of those phones so I went to have it exchanged for a new phone today. I was secretly hoping they’d upgrade me to a iphone 5, but they didn’t. James has the new one and I’m so envious! At least it’s a completely new and scratch free iphone which is better than a year old slightly scratched one. Always look at the bright side, right? :)
Whilst I was sneezing around in Covent garden trying to spot a cab I stumbled upon Lush and decided to splurge on a little everyday luxury – bath bombs. I don’t know of any other brand that does bath bombs as well as Lush and sliding down in a warm comfy bath was more tempting than anything today.
I ended up with 4 bath bombs (Dragons Egg Balistic, Big Blue, Avobath and Fizzbanger Ballistic) and 1 bath bar (The good ol’ Comforter). All four of the bath bombs are new to me so I wanted to try one of those and ended up with a big blue bath. Blue Monday, anyone? :)
It turns the water into the most beautiful bright blue colour with little bits of algae swimming around.
How lovely is that blue water? :D I think I will have to buy more of that one!
Even Linus wanted in, I think he must be half human – he loves having baths and tried to climb in during my whole bath. Speaking of, he mentioned something about having a thing or two he wants to share about London so I assume he’ll write a post soon. First I will share the rest of my sale finds from Harrods ;)

I just used one of these Lush bath bombs last night pre-Golden Globes viewing on my couch! They are divine – my favorite is the Ne Worry Pas. Hope you feel better soon Celina!
It looks like a deep blue ocean, makes me think of vacation :) just went to Lush today, but it didn’t caught my eye. I will definetly need to go back and check it out!
What a coincidence–I just had a bath too! I used a Christmas bath bomb from Lush and it turned the water a beautiful purple. I love your bathroom as well. Linus is so cute trying to climb in. I am always tempted to let my dog join me on the bath too. But I’m afraid he is not as enthused about baths as Linus is.
I like flowers like orchids (especially white, like yours), but don’t they need a day light?
My orchids always die :-/ How do you do that they don’t die in your bathroom?
They are artificial from John Lewis :D Mine always dies too hahaha

Åh vad härligt det ser ut! Vi har en lush-butik här i Göteborg också och det luktar alltid så gott när man går förbi! Men jag har varit lite känslig mot parfym det senaste, men i framtiden kanske jag kan köpa mig en badbomb igen! :)
I hope you’re feeling better soon! I have the flu at the moment too and work’s too busy to take time off at the moment even though I cannot sleep but can hardly stay awake either! :( I look forward to my tea breaks to read up on my favourite blogs
I am going to treat myself to a new bag on pay day (just over two weeks time!) even though I have wayyyy too many. lol. What do you think of the Prada Saffiano Lux tote? Have you ever considered getting one? It seems to have been a craze that I missed out on, but I love that it’s a pretty timeless tote.
Oh, poor thing, get well very soon!! No sleep and a busy schedule is not a good combination.
I must say the Prada bags are not for me. I’m not sure what it is, but I just don’t like them.

I’m new to your blog and love it! LUSH bath bombs are a MUST in my bathroom. I have two apothecary jars that I keep filled with all the pink ones they make, it looks so chic! I look forward to being able to go back thru your blog ( maybe in a warm pink bath) hope you feel better soon!

Hey! Have to confess that I never tried Lush products. I mean many times I was browsing through their stuff when I was in London or in Lausanne but never eventually bought anything. Next week when I’ll be in London, will buy some of their bath stuff to try it out – it looks so nice on your photos :) Anyways I was just thinking that maybe you could do a skin care routine ?? I am sure many of your followers would love such a post :) Hope you will get better soon! take care

There is one thing I wanted to ask totally unrelated to shops heh ! I have been thinking about getting a pommeranian dog Im waiting to see if there will be any puppies now. Do you have any advice for me I never in my life had a dog before just persian cats ! do they bark all the time or is it possible to train them well ? would love to hear for you

You will not regret getting a pomeranian, he or she will bring so much happiness to your life! Pomeranians are known for having a lot of sound, that doesn’t necessarily mean barking though. Linus barks when he hears someone at the door or if something falls down and he’s not sure about what it is, other than that he only speaks with little cute growling noises :) Pomeranians are incredibly smart so you can train them very easily! Make sure you get a puppy from a reputable breeder, not a puppy farm online. Visit the breeder and see how they treat their dogs and how the dogs behaviour is. Read up on books about puppies and dogs, and make sure that pomeranian is the right breed for you. Best of luck in finding a little friend :) xx

First off…oh no!!! I just got better. I went to Chicago for New Years Eve and came home very sick! Now you have it! ugh. I know how stressful it is. All you want to do is sleep but you hurt so bad and cant stop the runny nose to get comfortable. It is the worst feeling.
The best thing to do is stay in. Take a bunch of hot baths and relax as you surf the web :) It always makes me feel better. lol
Do you have any cold remedy that you use or something your Mom used to do for you?
Secondly..your bathroom is so chic. very pretty! Also I have never tried anything from Lush. I really need to. I get overwhelmed when I go in the store though because there is just sooo much to chose from. I need to stop joking around and get serious and finally buy some Lush. lol I know I wont regret it. I take a bath every night to unwind.
Lastly, Linus is so cute I cannot stand it!! He is just like my puppy. My puppy (Ozzy) will lay next to the bath math as I take a bath and waits for me to finish. I think he wants me to pick him up and put him in the tub with me.
Like I said before. Linus isnt a dog.. He is your furry baby. :)

It’s so funny that you posted this! I received some lush products as a Christmas present and used the first one last night! It was the fizzbanger and it turned the water amazingly bright teal! Plus there’s a funny surprise in the middle. Glad you’re enjoying London, and can’t wait to hear more!
