I´ve been writing a lot about eye makeup and not so much about the base which is strange for me. I’m a complete skin geek when it comes to learning new ways to trick people into thinking I have a flawless skin. I have been struggeling with acne for so many years that all the information I come across about covering up imperfections just sticks. You want your base to be natural looking and glowing and pimples and stuff to be covered. You want to be approachable and touchable while still looking beautiful basically.
Here is a video by the very talented Lisa Eldridge on how to cover acne:
My favourite full coverage foundation is by Nars, and you can get it here. It’s been a favourite for years and no other foundation covers as well as this does while still keeping the skin natural looking. It’s hands down the best.
I hope this was helpful and that you might have learnt some new tricks from it :)
