Do you want to avoid breakage on your hair?

Most of the time us Norwegians are quite up to date, but every now and then I come across an item which seems to be completely blatently to everyone around me in Monaco and London, whilst I might have just heard of it once or twice. An example is the Mason Pearson hair brush. I was first introduced to this brush in St.Tropez a few years ago because I had forgotten my brush at home. I thought it was an obscene price for a hair brush, but everyone seemed so convincing which made my inner child curious – so I bought it. Since that day, I’ve never gone anywhere without my Mason Pearson brush! Mason Pearson brushes are what Rolls Royce are to cars, what Hermes is to fashion and what Rolex is to watches.

So what’s so special about the brush, you ask?

♥ Mason Pearson has been the most popular brush brand since 1885.
♥ The brushes are handmade and each brush is carefully inspected.
♥ The bristles are made of nylon and boar, and are designed to evenly distribute sebum, which, in turn, makes the hair shiny and strong.
♥ The boar bristles are the same hardness as actual hair, so the brush doesn’t cut, break or extract unwanted hair from the scalp when in use.
♥ The nylon bristles are softer than the hard plastic bristles contained in many other commercial hair brushes on the market, are especially designed with hair care in mind.
♥ Together the bristles massage the scalp and increase circulation so that the scalp skin remains healthy. Healthy scalp skin ensures that the hair gets the required strength. It also ensures growth of hair and reduces hair loss, apart from making the hair much more manageable.
♥ They are made to last a lifetime, and mine are both as good as new!

I found the travel size here, but they have other sizes and types as well :)

Have you heard of  the Mason Pearson brushes?

I have never heard of Mason Pearson, but I have seen that kind of brush at my favorite store, and I think I’ll just go and buy one now.

Make sure it’s Mason Pearson and not just a copy made of other material. It’s the rubber pad, and the special nylon and boar bristles that makes this such a great hair brush!

Hei vakreste beauty bloggeren! :) Børsten er helt rå, rart at en hårbørste kan ha så mye å si på håret!

Supert tips! Håret mitt tåler ingenting for tiden :/

Gå for børsten med bare boar bristles , den er best for tynt og sensitivt hår! Hvis det er kjemisk ødelagt burde du også ta en titt på denne hårkuren, reddet håret mitt!!

I’ve always wanted one, but the price totally puts me off :( I just can’t justify paying that amount for a hairbrush & I’m skint atm. hopefully one day though! :) x

I have the same dilemma! I can’t fathom paying that much for a hairbrush but then I keep thinking to myself, I’ll use it every day, and it lasts a life time, so in retrospect it’s not that expensive. It’s just the initial “im spending this large amount for a hairbrush” thing I’ll have to get over. I’ve wanted one since I was a little girl.

My mother has it, it`s really good, I also use the michel mercier brush for fine hair (it has 3 models: for fine, normal and thick hair) I bought it in London for 13 pounds or so and it’s amazing!! I leave you the link in case you wanna check it out ;) http://www.michelmercier.co.uk/
