I am so happy right now that I have trouble sitting still to write you this. A big brown box from theOutnet came on the door today, and I would’ve loved to be a fly on the door when I unwrapped the box…

Fighting my way through the silk paper while not knowing what’s inside brought back the exact same thrill and excitement I had when I as a child got to open that one present before the rest of the presents a few days before Christmas. The gift that came as a complete surprise, making me even feel a bit naughty for opening a present before I was supposed to.
As you know the boots where sold out and I didn’t get to buy them, but James apparently did. Can you believe it?? And it’s not even Christmas. I know I have said it before, but I must have the best and most thoughtful boyfriend in the world!! :O How romantic and sweet is that!! When he saw my post he thought I ought to have them since I wanted them and decided to surprise me while he’s away in London. Aaaaww, my heart melts.. Thank you, love of my life ♥
Ps. Thank you so much, my sweetest readers, for the support you showed me in the comment section of the previous post. YOU are the reason why I blog ♥ Unfortunately some people write just to start a fight, and it’s always the same trolls so I’ve learned to just ignore them. However, my inicial thought when reading comments like those are still fear of it being the common belief and impression the majority of you readers have of me, so to read your comments and see you know me makes it so much easier to just ignore the troll comments :)
Ps2. Sorry for the quality of the photos, I tried to edit them as much as I could to make them look ok. They called from the camera repair shop today, and I’ll have my Canon back in 3 weeks.

As much as I appreciate the sentiment in regards to respecting the blog, not making assumptions, and being kind I have to say- I do kind of see the problem. At the beginning i found this blog incredible- with such a focus high-low options and a well rounded blog in general. However, of late celina I have found it to be a tad myopic and give off the ‘spoiled’ brat appearance. I am not saying this to insult you- but just to let you knowmy opinion as a longer term reader. You just don’t seem very grounded of late and my support is wavering infavour if blogs featuring girls with similar life styles too you but more career oriented and with some focus in their life besides shoes and their boyfriend. In fact as someone who used to check your blog daily this is my first time being on it in nearly 2 weeks.

I could not disagree with you more. From the beginning her blog has been about items she desires, styling those items, beauty, and fashion in general. Nothing has changed. She hasn’t posted any styling photos lately because her camera is broken. I for one think if you can’t find anything that speaks to you on her blog, you should just not visit any more. To me your posts scream petty.

Your blog is lovely – I really enjoy reading it. We have a saying in America – “haters gonna hate!” Hahaha! It’s from a rap song. Anyway the point is, it means people who are going to find something to complain about will do so no matter what you do, so brush it off and move on.
Anyway, I personally would love to hear more about your thoughts on life, reflections, and advice, as I said before, and I offer than in the spirit of a faithful reader. I couldn’t resist – I was cleaning out my own closet today and had to post again something I would absolutely love if you would write about – how to care for beautiful, expensive clothes, accessories and bags so that they last forever. I buy these much-loved pieces and want to keep them in good condition. I loved your post about “Save Your Souls” on restoring shoe soles – would you have any other tips and tricks about keeping leather in good condition, boots, bags, dresses, washing (especially hand-washing and keeping beautiful fabrics soft and supple) – especially because dry cleaners often ruin beautiful embellished clothes. Anyway I’m sure you’ve been through plenty of aches and pains with your wardrobe – please share !
Let me start off by first saying I have been a reader from day one and I love the blog. You are a wonderful person and have a beautiful heart. I dislike the hate that you receive on the blog ,but I can understand where some are coming from. We see this fabulous life and never hear of any hard times or anything that isn’t extremely extravagant. It sometimes can seem that you are not a real person. I love seeing old pictures of you (with the tiger..with your mom..etc) I feel that all you seem to talk about now is just expensive stuff you buy. I know you want to keep your life private ,but sometimes it can come off as not being a real person. I wish you would put aside the fabulous handbags and extravagant trips and just show us yourself. I know you want to be private but we would like to know about your dreams and aspirations and not just about handbags and shoes. Don’t get me wrong. I love your style and the extravagant things ,but those don’t mean anything if you can’t show the real you. I think you should do another question and answer section and honestly answer some questions people are asking. You can still be private and divulge a small amount of information about yourself enough for us to feel we know more about you than your favorite handbag. The reason I am even writing this comment is because I love you and your blog so much and really want to know you better (like many others)
This is all coming from a place of love and positivity. Like I said I am an avid reader and I love your style. I ,like others, would like to get to know the person without all the fashion and travel to muffle it.

I just wrote a comment about how I personally would like to read more about other things such as Celina’s cooking (I do know she cooks), books, movies, fitness, Monaco (OK, she does write about Monaco)…Actually, I am more inspired by Celina’s non-fashion post than by her post about boots, and shoes, or whatsoever since I am not interested that much in fashion, especially not in such expensive stuff. Please, no hard feelings…Just my opinion, and a suggestion. XO
I just wanted to say that I love your blog . I am a new reader, but can definitely relate to your story since I am in sort of the same situation (only in Asia, hence traveling home to Europe is a headache). Keep up the positive and optimistic vibe and when you get those nasty comments, please remember that people only want to rain on your parade, because they are jealous of your sun and tired of their shade. Hi I am new to your blog and I can’t help to say something, I think if you don’t have nothing nice to say don’t say it this ladies had the option to read about your blog or not so why come read it and say bad things about you and assumption, this is your blog so you write of whatever you want, and you don’t have to tell them if you have an income of your own cuz they probably would complain about it to. Also is a great move that you keep James in hidden because they will complain about that too. Just keep up the good work.
