Interior inspiration & contest winner

Hi everyone!

Hope you’re having a great weekend and that you’re enjoying every last bit of it :) I’ve spent the last 48 hours in bed with headache, tummy pain, dizziness and fever. Turns out I didn’t drink enough water while driving through France so now I’m dehydrated. It really freaks me out as I was dehydrated in Bali once and fainted while on shopping. When I woke up I was so dizzy and I kept loosing my sight. The actual fainting wasn’t that bad but being completely blind for 15 minutes without knowing what was going on was the worst feeling I’ve ever had. You’d think I’d learn to drink water…

Anyway, while in bed I’ve gone crazy on Pinterest and I’ve found tonns of inspiration for the new flat in London. Since you asked if I could share the decorating process I thought I’d share some of my favourites :)

I’ve also found lots of inspiration for the inexpensive dressing room project, but I can share that another time. Or you can of course check out my pins….hint hint ;) You can find me here, or just search for bycelina :)

Oh no, the feeling before fainting is definitely the worst feeling, when you get so dizzy and you know your going down.. I hope you are quick to mend! I think you need that mirrored vanity, gorgeous!

Fortunately I’ve only fainted once and weirdly I can’t remember anything from before I fainted, I just remember I woke up on the floor with lots of Indonesian women around me applying something pepperminty under my nose hehe.. When I stood up I went blind and my sight was out for 15 minutes and I was taken to the hospital. It was incredibly scary not knowing if my sight would come back and the worry about “what comes next”, ugh.. Water is so important!

I absolutely need that mirrored vanity, it’s incredible! I’ll do my best to find one that is affordable enough to fit in to our budget. It
s going to be so hard haha! xx

I love you design inspiration Celina! The all white, kind of gorgeous textures and accents I think always makes a space look so incredibly luxurious. I’ve wanted all white bedding for so long now! I can’t wait to see how to make this flat and especially your dressing room look! I’m so excited for you that you and James found something you loved in London. What websites are you looking at for inexpensive decor? Maybe you will do a post on this soon.

I hope you feel better! I have really low blood pressure so I black out and get how you’re feeling a lot, and it is so scary! Get well soon.
xoxo

I am so sorry to hear that you are not feeling well :( Hopefully, you have gotten lots of water and rest, and you will feel better soon. To prevent dehydration, I like to carry a 1 liter water bottle with me (it’s a bit big, but worth it) because it seems like you are only drinking one bottle when in fact you are getting plenty of water :) The pictures look gorgeous. I’ve always liked having soft colours at home because it creates a more relaxing environment. The glass pears with plants inside are definitely my favourite thing you posted! Feel better, and I’ll look forward to seeing posts when you have rested and hydrated yourself :)

Buy a fun cup and keep it next to you, to remember you have to drink water. If I forget, I get dizzy and anxious, it’s amazing how important water actually is. The pictures are perfection, if only I had a house like that!

Celina,

The fainting is an issue with me too! Just try to remember to bring water with you- maybe you should get a nice BPA free bottle that fits your great style so that you remember to take it with you all the time!

And the inspirations are to die for!!! So classy-chic!

Best,

Alexandra <3
