After having trudged through the streets of London in full wind in search of a pashima scarf the beautiful curls from Nicky Clarke has blown away. I didn’t even find a scarf, the only thing I ended up with was lots of cravings for things I shouldn’t buy myself and three stubborn blisters. I even managed to walk passed the Mac counter without even touching a thing which I’m quite proud of to be honest :) The big shopping day is tomorrow and I can’t wait!!
So what is concourse d’elegance?
“Concours D’Elegance is held within the magnificent grounds of the Hurlingham Club and has a rich 20 year heritage, drawing together some of the world’s most exclusive brands for a grand three day event in celebration of everything that epitomises luxury. This unique and opulent extravaganza brings together the finest brands from designer clothing, exclusive properties to jewellery, yachts and aviation as well as vintage, classic and super cars.
Taking place in London between 27 and 29 July 2011,Concours D’Elegance is an exclusive, invitation only event and is an occasion not to be missed on the summer social calendar.”
James is one of the owners of the event so he has been there all three days after choosing outfits at Dolce & Gabbana for free which he ended up not having as he likes his own clothes better. The first day he received a watch worth £8000 as a thank you. Me? Jealous?? I tried to persuade him that it was a good idea that I was dressed in Dolce & Gabbana too, but I guess I’ll have to tweak a bit on my persuading capabilities. I ended up wearing a white summerdress from Asos instead :)
I’ll tweet about it all as soon as I get there! Hope you’re all having a lovely start of the weekend :)
