Tonight we’re having dinner with some friends at a newly opened restaurant, Cipriani. They already have a restaurant in London which is fab so I’m very excited! I haven’t dressed up properly like this for weeks or even months, so I’m having major issues figuring out what to wear tonight. Dress or skirt, long or short, black or colourful.. gah. I guess it’s just one of those things that comes with being a girl, because judging from my visit from Norway last week – this never ends ;) You should have seen us in my dressing room. Outfit after outfit were tried on and makeup was floating all over with four mirthful scandinavians in the middle :)
After a long morning of serious decision making I’m down to two dresses, and I need some help – which one shall I go for?
Alexander McQueen on the left, with a low back covered in lace (the front is just plain and simple). Hervé Léger on the right, as tight as these bandagae dresses all are with intricate detailing along the front and back.
What do you think? Alexander McQueen or Hervé Léger?

Act like a royal and do a clothing change in the middle of dinner so you can wear both;-) They are both stunning, but I would go with Alexander McQueen. Have fun!!!

They are both absolutely Amazeballs but if its a restaurant your heading to then I would choose the one that is the more comfortable of the two as you will be sitting down for long periods and also eating which means certain parts of the dress may need to expand ,depending on whether or not your a little miss piggy like moi ;)
If they are both equally as comfy then I love the Herve Leger for a cool modern restaurant and the McQueen for a more classic restaurant but overall I just adore both eeekkkkkkk,not helpful at all,sorry,good luck!!
Yes, I agree with Clara. Depends on the style of the restaurant and comfort factor when sitting “and gorging”. Also, if you might be going out afterwards to a club to shake a leg, then def. the Leger.

Tricky one, they are both elegant but with edgy details. I do like the Alexander McQueen one that all other girls have voted for, b1ut as it is summer I would go for the Hervé Léger dress. It is not easy to decide though without seeing the shoes and accessories. You will look lovely, I wish I had the figure for those types of dresses but i am working on it!

Everyone seems to love the Alexander McQueen, and although I drool over this dress, for a dinner I would personally choose the Herve Leger because the the point of the McQueen is the back, and it might not show too much… But that’s just me! You will be gorgeous anyway! xx
I think the McQueen is the most elegant, even though I absolutely LOVE the Herve Leger. The Leger has more of an edge, so I guess it depends on what you are most going for…elegance/sexy or edgy/sexy. Whichever you choose, you will look lovely in either. Have a great time! :)

I love the Hervé Léger, but it maybe difficult to get sit and eat in that dress… so the Alexander McQueen maybe more appropriate for dinner. I think the Hervé Léger is more of a standing and looking pretty dress, not much sitting in that one. :)
They are both amazing, so I’d say to go with whatever mood you are in when you get dressed! Like others have said, The Alexander McQueen is on the classy/elegant side, while the Herve Leger is more fun (though both are classy in my opinion). What kind of a hair day you are having could also play in–if my hair for some reason decides to do exactly what I want, I go for something like the Herve Leger where I could wear it down and not feel like I covered up the best part. If it wasn’t cooperating, I’d go for the Alexander McQueen so I could show off the back and wear my hair up! Either one will be stunning.

I love both dresses, but I would go for something colourful. It summer already, it’s warm, you’re on the seaside, it’s romantic, fun, go for colours and keep the black for really formal dinners and autumn/ winter. But I’m sure you’ll look fantastic whatever you decide to wear! You have fantastic clothes and the proper body for wearing them :))

My favorite, like many others, would be the alexander McQueen. It’s just so dramatic and stunning. But, I do think either will look amazing on you depending on where you go and the accessories you choose. Make sure to take pictures!
