This week my beautiful pregnant sister came to stay with me for a week, and it was really lovely to spend some time with her after not having seen her for a while. We did the whole sightseeing thing, went to the beach, went to my favourite restaurants, watched movies, played with the puppy, ordered in food and indulged in a vast amount of snacks while chatting about everything and nothing ♥

I have received so many wonderful comments and emails from you readers during these days, and I feel so lucky to have so many fantastic readers!! I must admit I was really close to shutting down the blog last week, but I would miss you guys too much. I will however be slightly less personal and focus more on fashion and makeup as it seems some people like to make assumptions when they don’t know the whole story, and I’m tired of having to explain myself time after time. I hope you understand and that you will still enjoy the blog, and share your thoughts just as before :)

awww Celina, i’m sorry to hear you were thinking about shutting down the blog. You know no matter what you do in life, there are always going to be people who have opinions. I’ve learned (the hard way) to just ignore what others think. Nobody has the right to judge anyone. We don’t know what is going on behind the scenes in others lives. You do whats right for you and forget about rest. You shouldn’t feel the need to explain yourself, especially to people you don’t even know. I love coming home from work, children in bed, nice cup of tea and reading your blog. It’s my light relief after a busy day and I always look forward to a new post! Please don’t stop!! xxx

I will really miss it if your blog is not as personal as it used to be! Whatever you do, you will always get jealousy and judgement from a bitter minority anyway. Since you will be doing more makeup, would it be possible for you to do a few looks for Halloween?
If I get my camera back from the repair shop in time I will :) The camera I’m using now is OK for using in general, but for makeup looks I really need the other camera and lenses to go with it to capture the details.
I do hope your camera is fixed soon! I am suffering from Beautiful Celina withdrawls… :’(

Love the pics – quick question: I tried to do the hairstyle with the “hair donut” – I couldn’t quite get the wrapping technique or figure out how you were rolling it. Did you loop the hair itself over the bun, or roll the donut upwards? A video would be much appreciated – I learned a lot from your other video on the makeup technique. Sometimes the way in which you hold your hand and seeing it is just as important to the technique. Would love to see more!
I also echo the other readers – I’ve been checking your blog every day after the big “Thank you” post thinking to myself, “finally, Celina will put up some exciting new posts with pictures, tutorials, etc, and I can’t wait to read it and move on.”

Ohhh that’s bad news!I think that what makes your blog special is the way you live, enjoy life and show that through your blog. I think it’s an elegant,honest and sweet diary of yourself and I personally don’t focus on the price of the items you show but the way you show them (the photos,the big smile on your face..) it’s a shame that you have to explain personal things to others because they can’t confront or asume their own lives, but let me tell you that due to people who can’t have their mouths shut your loyal readers, the ones who have read every and single posts you wrote (like me) are the real victims in this story.At least that’s how I feel right now :(

Dont let nasty jealous folk allow you to make changes to who you are. You are a stronger person than that. Im a school teacher and it would be like me punishing the class for one childs misbehaviour. The vast majority of your readers love the insights you give us into your life and respect those aspects you choose to keep personal. Dont allow the few who question your motives to spoil what you should be proud of having achieved.
Ask your sister what she thinks, Im sure she is proud of what you do here and wont want you to change!

As you can tell by the post before me, people don’t want you to stop what you are doing. The personal touches you put on this site make it what it is. Its what makes it special and different from other blogs. No matter what you do in life someone will always be unhappy.

Keep the blog how it was.. how you wanted it to be. Shutting down or shutting your personal self off the blog only means that the negative people win. It is also a disservice to the loyal followers to change your blog because of a few bad apples.
The most important thing from my comment that I want you to take is that, Look at all your comments. The good, loving comments outweigh the hateful ones.

Phew!!! I’m glad we all dodged a bullet this time. I was afraid u were thinking about saying goodbye. You have good reason but I”m tickled pink u didn’t! The balance is more on the good side (much more) than the bad. So many of us would have been crushed. I count on you for all new fashion trends, I live in the country and believe me not too much prada happening here…. The pictures bring back such happy memories when my new beau( 17 yres ago) decided to take me to the South of France after only dating me for 3 months! I saw all the posts last week and it made me really sad. I think there is something wrong when women bag on other women, based upon society’s assumptions of what we ‘should’ or shouldn’t be doing. Especially when those comments are made on the internet about someone who really, we don’t even know outside of the small segment of your life that you have shown us.
I am glad you are going to continue to blog as I read it every day. I think some anonymity is probably a good idea in this day and age, but don’t let the trolls get you down.

I beg you, please do NOT stop posting about your life and the fantastic things that you get up to! It provides me with escapism from the boring monotony of working in an office. Seeing you travelling to London and Paris etc makes me smile – I prefer it to your fashion pieces if I’m honest! :)
Be strong! There will always be people who are overcome with jealousy! Why should they force you to change your blog? In the end you’ll only be succumbing to what they inevitably want (for you to stop). Be proud of being fortunate!
Perhaps you could disable the comments on your lifestyle sections! Personally, I think you should rub it in their faces even more!

Please do not cut posts of your personal life from your blog. Truth is that fans of your blog live vicariously through it and you. You live in a beautiful place, have many beautiful things, and are very beautiful. What differentiates you from many bloggers who have the same is that you come off as a beautiful person. You show us your world exactly the way you see it, which is to say that your love and appreciation for the subjects of your pictures and blog posts are apparent. To be honest I am quite new to your blog and I have been able to sense this from just a few posts. We like “knowing” you, which I hope does not come off as too creepy. I think you and James’ story is so beautiful. And honestly when you blog about your relationship and all of the sweet. Things he does for you, it reminds me that there are still amazing guys out there and that I should never settle for less. Anyone that says anything other than that is just jealous.
