When I woke up and at looked at myself in the mirror today I didn’t feel like I looked as strong on the outside as I feel on the inside so I decided to go online and look up Tracy Anderson, a celebrity trainer a friend of mine keeps raving about. The first video I did was a treadmill session with Molly Sims, and after the first 5 minutes I was completely sold! I haven’t had that much fun while working out since I was 8 and skipped around in the yard with my bunnies and the dog. Even better, I could really feel I was using muscles in a different way.

I followed up with the arm webisode, butt and thigh webisode, abs webisode and some of the cardio dance routines and it was so much fun I didn’t even feel like I was working out and suddenly two hours had passed! I recognise so much of the moves from when I was a competitive dancer as younger, and it feels great to be doing it again – I’ve really missed it! I found some of the routines in the webisode a bit hard to keep up with (especially the arm session as I have such spagetti arms), but my best tip is to just concentrate on the music and move with it – don’t think of it as a workout! You know, Nike weren’t idiots when they came up with the slogan “Just do it” ;)

Now I just came back from a long walk in the rain with Linus who must be the weirdest dog on the planet! Right out of the blue while we were walking he decides to walk on his two back legs for like a 100m, and I couldn’t stop my self from laughing out loud! Can you imagine the faces of the people we passed? Hilarious..

Now I really need to get going, I have lots of things to do before my boyfriend returns from Dubai tonight, that lucky bastard ;)  Chat later xx

It seems that your boyfriend travels a lot. How does he survive all that traveling, and hectic? I must admit I am not fond of airplanes, and airports. But, if it were a part of my job, I guess I would get used to it.

I totally agree! Behind a strong man there is even a stronger woman! So true! :)

I should start working out again! I feel so terrible without any proper physical exercise.

Yes, he travels a lot, but a lot less now that we are spending more time in London. He often does shorter flights so it’s not really a problem, for longer flights we try to book night flights so that we just sleep on the plane.

Thanks for sharing these workout webisodes! I’ll definitely be checking them out. Tracy Anderson writes for Cosmo where she suggests different workout techniques which I love, so this should be interesting! :)

I find it extra appealing that she’s been a dancer and then spent several years learning how the muscles actually work and how one can design the body based on workouts – I bet she gives really great advise as she sure is a smart woman.

Hi Celina, I just wanted to say that I’ve been a Tracy Anderson devotee for about 3 years now and I cannot recommend her method enough. You should really try out her Metamorphosis program which is a new customized workout DVD every 10 days for your specific body type. Also, her mini trampoline workouts are SO much fun! She has some trampoline DVDs but the one I like the most is on YouTube….search ” Tracy Anderson mini rebounder workout”. Anyway, just wanted to sing her praises, I used to be a dancer as well, and with her program I’ve been able to keep my sculpted, tiny ballet arms and tight butt, better then with any other exercise program I’ve tried :) Enjoy!

P.S. Let me know if you’d like me to send you one of her DVDs in the mail to try out. I’m on her continuity plan, and get a new set of DVDs every few weeks so I have a HUGE collection of her work…. more than I know what to do with!

Wow, three years? You must have a really amazing body! I just ordered a dvd the other day and I can’t wait for it to arrive :D
