LONDON
Do you remember I told you about that one flat we LOVED and which we gave an offer for? WE GOT IT!!! I’m so excited and I can’t wait to decorate it! No, really, I can’t wait to decorate it so I’ve already begun planning and looking up furniture. Now that we’ve decorated and practically built a flat from scratch once already I feel more prepared for this one and I now know exactly what we need, and don’t need. Fortunately this flat was the only flat I took pictures of so I have pictures of every room and every corner :D
Since we want to keep the flat in Monaco as well we’ve decided to not go as overboard on the decorating budget as we did on the flat in Monaco so right now I’m looking up smart but affordable ways of building a dressing room while lying feverish in a straight horizontal line on the sofa. I should probably rest, but I’m really excited about this flat and I know it’s going to be so amazing! I have three rooms to decorate in addition to the reception room/lounge and hallway, and I’m planning on fitting in a dressing room, a gym and a guest bed in addition to our bedroom. You can expect a few interior inspiration posts from now on which brings my thought onto Pinterest!! I think I’ll pin like a mad for the rest of the evening until I fall asleep and my handsome prince will have to carry me into bed <3

I’ve observed the lack of information that my Master have shared with you from our recent trip so I thought I’d jump into the writing seat and share my travel diaries with you instead. The actual journey from Monaco to London was a drag so I slept through most of that to save up some energy for my mission. My mission is of course to catch the flying objects (which she calls birds) that seem to be following us everywhere we go. Smug little bastards..
We started to track them down in Green Park. I say we to be “including”, but really my master doesn’t get it.. she is actually slowing us down but I love her and she gives me food so I can’t really get rid of her although it is tempting at times like when I was clearly in the middle of camouflaging myself using a perfectly filthy pile of dirt to rub myself in and she takes us to look at horses which she seemed overly excited about. HORSES…
If I could.. just… rub.. a little..
After we had to call off the mission of taking down the flying objects (I was close!) we went to a coffee shop in Soho. Because I’m so brilliant and talented I get to go inside coffee shops where no others of my kind are allowed. I think they have yet to figure out how to use the power combination of big puppy eyes and a wagging tail. Idiots.
When the mission was called off we headed back to France. Finally my Masters took to their senses and put me in the lead. Let’s see… doggie room service….
We drove to the Sofitel hotel in Lyon where we got a big suite for me to run around in and a little French midget came to deliver some proper food for me. Chicken. Hah, where’s your smug little face now wing-thing? :D
That seems to cover everything that I thought was exciting about the trip. I remember my Masters whining about an 11 hour drive back home but it didin’t seem that stressful to me as I was just passed out on the back seat. I intend to spend tonight killing my stuffed penguin I stole from some other dogs in London.
Tomorrow will be my 6th month birthday and I’ve heard whispers of long walks and lots of play in the park, I’ll obviously act surprised as they seem to like it when I’m excited. Those wing-things are going down!

The foundation was launched this year and has already won several prizes and quickly topped the ranking of the top foundations on the market. I actually got a sample from Sephora a couple of weeks ago to see if my very sensitive skin reacted to it and if it lives up to the craze. For reference I am a NC25 in Mac and I was paired up with the shade B30. I would say it gives medium coverage, and the finish really is beautiful! The skin looks radient without being shiny, and skin just looks naturally healthy. I like it a lot, and that comes from someone who’s very picky when it comes to foundation! Can be found here.

Because of the medium coverage it’s probably not the best if you have problem skin. If you have problem skin and are looking for something with a lot of coverage – try this one instead! It’s been my all time favourite for years. I use Fiji in the summer (a very warm Mac nc 25-nc 30) and Deauville in winter (a little more neutral than a nc20 but still not as pink as the nw). Don’t be fooled by the name, it¨s not shiny in any way and apparently the matte version isn’t as good.

Hi everyone,
We just arrived in Lyon and I’m more stuffed than I think I’ve ever been before after having had at least 15 courses (I lost counting…) in the hotel gourmet restaurant overlooking the beautiful city. I’m also incredibly happy to finally have access to internet again so I can update you on our little adventure through France!
We did an extremely quick search for hotels online in the car as we left England to find a hotel nearby Calais which is the first French city you come to when crossing the boarder. We found one nearby Rouen which is kind of half way to Paris so we decided to power on to that hotel hoping for the best without having read anything or seen any pictures. As we came into the region of Bordeaux in the middle of the night we drove through so many incredible villages, and with Christmas decorations hanging on every corner and in every street it was truly magical to drive through! We reached the hotel totally exhausted at about 01.00, and having hoped for adequate, this chateaux was beyond all expectations and totally blew our minds. Hello winter wonderland!! How lucky! :D

We got our own little cottage right in the end with a little garden in front. It was so beautiful!! Here is the entrance:

Although beautiful and spectacular, I think the chateaux is even better during summer. We were the only ones staying so the service was impeccable (stuffed after breakfast would be putting it mildly), and we are definitely heading back again next summer. Imagine sipping on some wine in this paradise. The Chateaux is called Manoir des Saules, and is located in the village of La Saussaye. (Be prepared to not have any access to internet though…)

Today we gave an offer for one of the flats we saw yesterday and I can’t stop thinking about it. It would be so amazing if we got it. The flat is huge, with three bedrooms and three full bathrooms, a long hallway and a big lounge with an open kitchen. I would say it’s probably even bigger than the flat we have in Monaco, and we were initially only looking for a small crash pad. Sigh. But it’s sooo beautiful and right in the middle of Mayfair!
The bedrooms are of decent sizes so we were thinking of making one into a dressing room, and the second into a gym and keep the last as our bedroom :) It would be such a cool flat… dream, dream, dream… If we were to get this flat rather than one of the smaller we’ve looked at it would mean New York would have to wait, but I’m more than ok with that to be honest :D
I just want to start decorate and get it sorted *squeal*
