Thank you so much for all your comments on the previous post, I am so flattered! Many of you asked for a makeup tutorial on the look, so I’m working on the tutorial now (while still trying to do that backup) and it will be up some time this week. I’m including all kinds of tips and tricks I know about makeup for photoshoots, hope you will like it!
Jacket – HERE (LOVE!!!) // Trousers Asos (old) – similar HERE // t-shirt – HERE // Booties – Jimmy Choo
I’ve also received requests for more photos of Linus, which makes me so happy :) As you know he was 11 weeks yesterday, and soon he will start to lose his coat to get his real grown up coat. They call it the monkey stage, so I will be taking lots of photos before that happens. Of course I will love him just as much before, and I will probably post lots of pictures of him at the monkey stage as well ;) Time fly by so quickly!! :O
What do you think of my outfit? Hope you’re all enjoying your day! Chat later xx
I have been trying to do a back up of the blog for the past 2 days, and it’s just not happening. The computer needs constant attention for it not to shut down, and the furthest I have come is 13%. SNAP!
No matter how annoying it is, this meant I needed to find something to keep me occupied with on the computer. Clarely online shopping would’ve made a great choice, but considering the time the backup is taking that innocent online shopping would’ve ended in disastorous ways. So instead of shopping I have spent the last few hours reading up on photography and editing and I am enjoying it quite a lot!!
What do you think of my photos? Which one do you prefer?
Good morning sweetest readers ♥
I hope you’re all having a lovely start to the day! I’ve had a very relaxing and sunny morning, with as many as three huge cruise ships arriving. Gazing out at sea is really soothing and I love it, but when there is some action out there as well it’s weirdly so much more exciting for the eye.
Arpeggio Nespresso ♥
T-shirt: HERE (the most comfy t-shirts with the perfect cut!)// Skirt: ZARA // Bracelets: Dyrberg/kern, Herve Leger and Fiji Energy bracelet by Monica Vinader (also love this one - here) // Rings: Bulgari, Dyrberg/Kern and a treasure I found in Paris // Watch: Cartier // Nails: Tom Ford Black Orchid
I just kissed James off to the airport, and now I’m planning on doing some blog related work while snuggeling with Linus who is 11 weeks today. He is growing so incredibly fast, and getting more and more handsome for every day :D
Chat soon :) xx
Nine o’ clock this morning the door bell rang and I leapt head first out of bed and flew at lightning speed towards the door. I threw the door open full of excitement and, with Linus by my side just as excited as I was of course (got to love dogs!), 2½ minutes later I was little miss crafty herself with a serious mission to save my sole :D
I’ve been so excited to try this out as my Alexander McQueen flats are in desperate need of a touch up on the sole as there is not much yellow paint left at the moment. They (and the Christian Louboutin sandals) are the best purchase I’ve ever made from theoutnet and I’m not ready to let go of them just yet.
I will give you an update and a thorough how-to as soon as they’re done.
Hope you’re having a lovely day as well, sweetest readers ♥
With autumn comes the time to take care of the body again after slacking off the whole summer. For my skin this means switching out the liquid foundation with a nourishing mineral makeup, and I have found a mineral powder I absolutely adore! I was asked which mineral foundation I recommend some time back, but I didn’t really have a favourite back then so I thought I’d share this with you now that I’ve finally have found one that works really great for my skin :)
My new found love is the Glo Minerals glo pressed base. I alternate between two shades: Beige Medium (the lighter one of these two) and honey light (the darker one of these two).
I have also found a kabuki brush specifically made for use with a pressed mineral powder, and it’s the softest and chicest brush I’ve ever seen! It’s from Nilens Jord, and it’s no. 110.
Beige Medium // Honey Light
Today I’ve just been slacking around at home with my boys, and so I like to keep my makeup very simple and natural looking and for this purpose mineral powder is second to none :D I got it from makestyle.no where I also got my favourite concealer from.
I hope you’re enjoying your Sunday just as much as I am ♥ Lots of love xx
Wowzers. That is an expression I don’t really use, but right now it seems the excitment of materalistic happiness has numbed the intellectual part of my brain where my vocabulary normally can be found. I just got a delivery from Asos, and I can’t remember the last time I got an order that I was this pleased with. I LOVE all three things, and I love them all so much that I can’t pick a favourite.
Hello there perfection!
The jacket and jeans I got is rather hard to take photos of this way, so I’ll give you a little sneak peek, and then they will most definitely turn up in outfit pictures at a later point.
Even though I know what’s inside a package, unpacking things brings a rush through my body like a 7 year old on Christmas ;) I am such a child!! :D But who doesn’t love unpacking things? Who’s with me?? I know Linus is, because he seemed just as excited as I was. I think his favourite was the jacket. Great taste :D
I got: Michael Kors Rose Gold watch – can be found HERE // Diesel Marbel burgundy jeans – can be found HERE // Asos Jacquard gold jacket – can be found HERE

What do you think about my new things? Have you had an amazing delivery lately? Tell me all about it!! :)
Good evening, lovely readers ♥
Hope you’re enjoying your Friday night?? I got some very good news just now. James decided to postpone his trip to L.A, which means he is on his way to me right now!! Weeee :D We’re going out for dinner, and even though it’s barely 30 minutes until he is here, it feels like an eternity! Know the feeling?
The weather has been absolutely rubbish today which would normally be a negative thing, but I am so excited about wearing darker colours again that I actually don’t mind. Not to mention jeans, I haven’t worn jeans (except for in Norway) since May I think…
Anyway, I just wanted to pop by and say hi, seeing as I’m being a good blogger again and all ;D Hope you’re all having a very nice Friday night! xx
Many of my autumnal cravings were rather pricey, so I thought I’d share some of the best bargains from the high street as well :)

Anything you like? :)
This summer I have been a really naughty raw-foodist, meaning I haven’t really been eating very clean. When one of James’ friends came to visit I felt really bad about it as he follows a very clean diet that is free of both gluten and dairy and packed with extra nutrients. So, I’m leaping into it again, and I’m starting out with a raw dairy free ice cream :)
The ice cream is done in a giffy and it’s super delicious! All you need is a few pealed chopped and frozen bananas (throw them in the freezer before you go to bed), a spoon of cacao powder and a bit of erythritol to sweeten it up. Toss it all in to the blender and whisk it up to a heavenly chocolate creamy smooth deliciousness. Yummy!! I sprinkled it with a bit of cacao nibs for the fun of it, but you can leave it as it is or sprinkle with nuts or what ever rocks your boat. If you’re not that into chocolate, you can replace the cacao with vanilla, berries, or honey and nuts.
I enjoyed the ice cream together with ipad-Vogue and a nail polish session in some of the new furniture we got from New York last week (you know the furniture I’ve been whining about for months) ;D I am so happy to finally have it all in place!! As I was taking these pictures a little fur ball came and wanted to be included, so we worked on the command “stay”, and he did so well!!! You can see his eyes are set on the treat waiting for him hahaha :D Such a good boy!
He looks like innosence himself in this picture. Just minutes before this photo was taken he did a fur ball bomb jump into the water bowl which he then flipped around and dragged across the floor with the happiest little naughty expression. Puppy power reigns again.
Hope you’re enojoying your Thursday, sweets!! ♥
In March 2011 I had my last dye/bleach treatment, and decided to let my own hair colour grow hoping to create some kind of a natural looking blonde ombre. To my big surprise my hair has turned out to be much lighter than I thought so there’s not as much ombre going on as I was hoping for. I guess this is a good thing in the end as I am delighted to know that I don’t have to bleach my hair after all. Can’t believe I even started…
Anyway, the cut I am sporting at the moment needs to go. It is so boring and I puke of the sight of it in the morning. Not to mention the super dry ends from salt water and sun. I have been traumatized from visits to hair dressers in the past so I am hesitant on going, but I accept the fact that it needs to happen now.. So I’m thinking layers, long and whispy bangs, volume and lots of natural texture. I’m booking my appointment today. #scared
To have pictures to show the hair dresser makes me feel better as there will be less room for misunderstandings, and these are the ones I will be showing (after several intense moisture treatments to trick the hair dresser into thinking he doesn’t have to chop off as much of the ends as he might have done otherwise…..).
Are you planning on getting a new and fresh hair style for this autumn?
