Have any of you managed to get something nice from the clearance on The Outnet yet? I splurged massively, way more than planned – it was highly successful in other words. In fact, the total value pre sale of what I got is a whopping £20,630! Yes, I did good ;)

I haven’t had the chance to see any of it yet as I just got in the door after running around all day. We have a new concierge today and she’s been an angel! She signed for the delivery and sent it up to the flat so it was there waiting for me – three of the largest shopping bags I’ve seen packed with little goodies by Marchesa, Prabal Gurung, Alexander McQueen, Vera Wang and more. I can’t wait to dive in!!

One of my purchases was originally £8,875 (!!) and down to…. wait for it… £1,109! How amazing is that? I sure hope it fits…. Now that I live in the UK it’s so easy, if it doesn’t fit or if I want to return it for any other reason they come and collect it the next day. When it’s that convenient I can’t understand why one wouldn’t take the chance on such a sale.

If you haven’t peeked at the clearance yet, you must!! There are still great things left and if you’re lucky you might find some of the really popular items that flew off the shelf in an instant as someone might have decided to send it back. Find it here.

Now I have some diving to do, wish me luck!! :D

If you’re a long time reader I’m guessing you know exactly what TheOutnet is and how much I love this online store. SOme of my best purchases were made here, like a pair of lace up Louboutins. But if you’re new around here let me explain. You probably know Net-a-Porter? One of the biggest and most respected online fashion stores. The Outnet is like the little sister, the one who comes and steals clothes now and then and sell them at 30-60% off which means real bargains can be made. Every now and then The Outnet has a clearance sale, and that’s when it starts getting really interesting! Now head on over, because the stuff is flying away like crazy!

Monday, Monday, you truly are my frenemy! According to a study I read a while ago Wednesdays at exactly 15 o clock is the time women feel the least glamorous, but judging by today I’m not so sure. I’m just having one of those days where everything is wrong. I have done my best at turning it around though and spent the first two hours of my day working out which actually helped a little. I do normally like Mondays..

“Frenemy” is a portmanteau of “friend” and “enemy” that can refer to either an enemy pretending to be your friend or someone who really is your friend but is also a rival. – Wikipedia

I think part of the reason to why I’m feeling so shit today might have something to do with me staying up half the night watching tv-series until I just couldn’t keep my eyes up anymore, self imposed pain in other words. I found a new tv-serie yesterday starring our heroine Carrie Bradshaw, a prequel to Sex and the City. The show focuses on Carrie Bradshaw during her junior year of high school in 1984, and she explores life in New York while interning at a law office from when she was 16. The clothes and shoes aren’t as nice and it just can’t be compared to Sex and the City, yet I did stay  up half the night so I guess it has something – if you like Pretty Little Liars I’m guessing you’ll like this as well. You can find it on btvguide.com, and I recommend using gorillavid :)

Hope you’re having a much better Monday than I am and that you’re off to a good start to the new week! xx

Looking at my wardrobe I realise I have an awful lot of blacks and greys going on and I desperately need some more colours in there. I’m lacking inspiration and quite frankly I find colours far harder to dress in, in a chic way, than neutrals so I put together an inspiration collage and thought I’d share it with you:

Hey everyone,

Hope you’re all enjoying the weekend! We started our day with lunch in The Arts Club where I had my favourite dish of the moment, the tuna tartar. I have to try to recreate it at home because it’s so tasty, I’ll share it with you if I ever come that far.

On our way back we took some outfit pictures before we headed to Camden market to snoop around for something fun. We brought Linus with us which is hindsight was a really bad idea, every 5 meters we were stopped by people wanting to take photos of and with him or just spend a few moments with him. Of course I don’t mind people wanting to say hello to him, I actually think it’s lovely when we get stopped on the street, but it can be a little frustrating when we just want to walk around and look at things. He is the most adorable dog in the world though, so I fully understand :D

Camden Market is one of London’s most popular open air markets, quite similar to Thailands markets to be honest, except the insect delicacies are swapped for donuts and Moroccan food. It’s a weird mix of tourists, spaced out people stuck on a bad trip, teenagers, artists, and people like us just wanting so see what it’s all about.

The market itself consists of vintage clothes, crack pipes, food, art, second hand furniture, and just lots of colourful useless trinkets of which the eye find an amusement to rest at. We did actually find a mirror we quite liked so we might come by again. Maybe.

Tonight we’re out for dinner with friends, but first I’m hoping to have a quick session with Tracy Anderson :D Hope you’re having a great Saturday! xx

peter pilotto aw 2013 Peter Pilotto f/w 2013 Pre-order here

I’m completely speachless! What an incredibly beautiful collection. I love the cuts, the prints, the fabric, the femininity, the colours – everything! It’s perfection. I want so many of the items of this collection that I don’t even know where to begin, all I know is that I’m really tempted to pre-order which is something I’ve never done before.

What did you think of the Peter Pilotto Fall/Winter collection? x

Behind every strong man, there’s an even stronger woman

Happy women’s day! ♥

When I woke up and at looked at myself in the mirror today I didn’t feel like I looked as strong on the outside as I feel on the inside so I decided to go online and look up Tracy Anderson, a celebrity trainer a friend of mine keeps raving about. The first video I did was a treadmill session with Molly Sims, and after the first 5 minutes I was completely sold! I haven’t had that much fun while working out since I was 8 and skipped around in the yard with my bunnies and the dog. Even better, I could really feel I was using muscles in a different way.

I followed up with the arm webisode, butt and thigh webisode, abs webisode and some of the cardio dance routines and it was so much fun I didn’t even feel like I was working out and suddenly two hours had passed! I recognise so much of the moves from when I was a competitive dancer as younger, and it feels great to be doing it again – I’ve really missed it! I found some of the routines in the webisode a bit hard to keep up with (especially the arm session as I have such spagetti arms), but my best tip is to just concentrate on the music and move with it – don’t think of it as a workout! You know, Nike weren’t idiots when they came up with the slogan “Just do it” ;)

Now I just came back from a long walk in the rain with Linus who must be the weirdest dog on the planet! Right out of the blue while we were walking he decides to walk on his two back legs for like a 100m, and I couldn’t stop my self from laughing out loud! Can you imagine the faces of the people we passed? Hilarious..

Now I really need to get going, I have lots of things to do before my boyfriend returns from Dubai tonight, that lucky bastard ;)  Chat later xx

About three weeks ago I saw a photo on Instagram of a Chanel Le Vernis Blue Satin iphone cover, the first Chanel nail polish I ever bought, and I absolutely loved it! I can’t for the life of me remember whos photo it was because I went straight on google to find out where I could get one myself and today it arrived. I instagrammed a photo of one of the two I got earlier today and seeing as the response was so good I thought I’d share it here on the blog as well, in case someone else likes these laquers too ;)

EDIT: Also wearing the coolest rings I found the other day. They’re sold out now, but these are pretty cool too :)

I must admit Chanel nail laquers are my absolute favourites nail laquers! OPI laquers are probably of better quality, but the colours offered by Chanel is second to none. I have accumulated quite the collection over the years and I think I have one in each colour of the rainbow, yet I still can’t wait for the new amazing colour to arrive.

Since we’re heading towards spring I wanted a  more fun colour than the Blue Satin for my phone and narrowed it down to two, Dragon and Mimosa, and decided to get both. I was a little disappointed by the colour of the Mimosa iphone case as I was hoping it would be of the same rich yellow with tiny little glitter bits as the laquer, but it was of a much paler and colder yellow :/ I’m very happy with the red one though :D

I found these on Etsy, but the seller I bought them of is gone now, this seller seem just as good though :)

I’m having a little thing for blue at the moment – all shades from greens to blues really. And yellow!! Maybe I’m just missing spring? Although saying that, London has been really sunny since I got back from Monaco. I’ve been wearing a leather jacket and even sunglasses several times which I never thought I would be able to do until at least April. I do feel like switching out the black leather jacket for a more fun version though, and maybe some new spring sunnies to go with it too….

Truth be told I’m completely broke after I accidentally stumbled in to Hermès at the airport and got presented with the most beautiful thing I’ve been wanting for the longest time. It’s so gorgeous that I haven’t been able to take it out of its box yet, partly also because I totally could not afford it right now so I feel bad and subconsciously save it for when I actually do deserve it, if I ever will. My precious. I’ve been eating Houmous and fruit from Sainsbury’s at £1.20 and £2 to make up for it, except one lunch at The Wolseley but that was for social reasons – highly recommend it though. It’s located in Piccadilly, just a few steps away from The Ritz, great for breakfast and lunch.

Anyway, the jacket will have to wait and so will that gorgeous white structured leather skirt and sunnies… 9 days until next salary, I’m counting the days.

Anything you like? :)
