Even though I didnt plan on buying anything at the airport in Dubai (due to the high prices) I found a few things that I just couldn’t let pass me by. The body lotion and deodorant (both from Biotherm) are long time favorites of mine and I actually really needed both of them. My YSL faux cils, which is also a long time favorite, had dried out so it was a brilliant opportunity for me to convince James that I really needed the new and fancy rotating mascara star from Dior so I bought that one as well. Since I couldn’t find a perfume before the holiday I was thrilled when I saw the new limited edition Flowerbomb La Vie en Rose by Viktor & Rolf so that came along for my travels as well. I will do a proper review of the mascara after I have tried it out for a while but so far it’s brilliant!!
As you all know I’m a big sucker for Flowerbomb so when I saw this I knew I would love it. The fragrance is described as a ‘tangy’ scent that “narrates the beautiful adventure of a floral outburst on a glorious day in enchanting essences” which is the perfect scent to remind me of Dubai!! The fragrance opens with bergamot and tangerine, with a heart of rose, lily-of-the-valley and pink peppercorns, ending with amber and woody cashmere and patchouli.
Sunglasses are also very important for summer and because I have a very square shaped face I have a huge problem finding sunglasses that are nice and actually suit me so when I tried on these at Harvey Nichols in London yesterday I was absolutely thrilled and just had to have them! These are from D&G. I now have four new pairs of sunglasses for the summer which should be enough – two pairs from Marc Jacobs, one pair from Gucci and these lovlies! :)
Two cute shorts from the concious collection from h&m which I can imagine will be perfect for the all white trend this summer! Now I just need to find a nice white blazer…. any ideas?

This summer I think there are so many cool trends going on. I love the lace trend, the all white trend, the colour trend and the 70s trend!!!
