Bonsoir mes belles,
Every year Monaco hosts the international fireworks contest, and each show lasts for a whopping 25 minutes. Even though it happens every year I never seem to be prepared, and yet again my heart jumped out of my chest when it began. Nevertheless, it is a spectacular show! I was puffing and panting my way through a late night workout and felt quite happy I had a valid excuse to jump off the treadmill ;D No one ever gets too old for fireworks, right?
The contest itself is actually not held in our area, but a friendly soul must have decided to give us a little show as well :D Woohoo – the small things in life..

Have you been doing all of your 10k runs on your treadmill? Do you find that it is better (maybe safer?) to work out on this than to go outdoors?

No, most of the time I go hiking along the coast line – have a few posts with pictures if you’re interested, just use the search bar. But at night I’d rather run on the treadmill, and sometimes in the morning if I have a lot of errands to run that day. I think it’s always a good idea to do both anyway, that way your muscles “don’t get used to” one or the other :)

Flink du er på tredemøllen! Har du en hjemme? iiik! Heldiggris!!!! Skulle gitt mye for det, selvom jeg ikker heeelt vet hvor hjemme er fortiden. ha ha. Jeg har sats da… Begynner å bli på hils med de fleste som jobber der nå. hahaha.. Sånn går det når man ikke har sommerjobb & alle andre jobber på dagtid. Er ikke så veldig mange andre enn meg som trener midt på dagen kan du si. Kan som regel telles på én hånd ;) Men det er deilig med all plassen !

Ah fireworks are magical! I missed them for the Fourth of July this year, but maybe I’ll see them when I’m at Disneyland in a few weeks? One can never see too many fireworks in a lifetime :D
