Fifty Shades Of Grey

Good morning, sunshine ☀

We had big plans for last night, but after having gorged in sashimi, duck pancakes and chocolate nems we were all so tired that we couldn’t stand a chance of going out anywhere. Luckily that was only Thursday, and we have the whole weekend ahead of us to make up for it ;)

Thank you all so much for your lovely comments regarding my new hair do, I’ll try to make a tutorial on how I’ve been styling it :)

I wore my new light peach dress by Reiss which I got on the airport, really love it! :)

Today we’re renting a tent at the beach club again. I’m bringing my new book which I’ve heard a lot about recently… Fifty Shades Of Grey, anyone read it? Thoughts?

Just wanted to peek in and wish you all a wonderful day!! Lots of love, C

I have not read it myself, but heard from those who have that it is rather explicit when it comes to sex so most people were blushing their way through it, so have fun ;)

Fifty Shades of Grey. it’s a bit of a joke, well at least for those in my age group. Many people make fun of the author for her over usage of “there”, and how its a poorly written sex novel, but alas to each his own.

Hope you’ll have an awesome day, here in Sweden it’s pouring! I loved Fifty Shades of Grey, the whole series is such a cute story with an edge ;) In the third book they actually go to Monaco so that’ll probably be fun for you to read as well :D

Den boken vil jeg lese også! Gleder meg til å høre hva du syns om den :) Jeg leser en som heter “Cutting for Stone”, veldig interessant og vakker bok, men det tok tid før den kom igang, men nå er den er drøm å lese !
Kos dere i helgen masse masse !

I’ve heard very mixed opinions on it to be honest. That said, I think I’m still going to download them onto my Kindle and have a read of them when I go to Morocco soon. Hope you find it a good read!

I am half in Fifty Shades and I went to Ebay to order all three books! I cannot put this book away and I just cannot see why someone would mock this. This is probably one of the most exciting books I have read and probably and maybe because I can relate to it? When I drive home from school or just shopping Im actually thinking about this book… And Im thinking of Christian…. And Im thinking of “my” Christian, if that makes sense? Be prepared to be hooked and hopefully you have enough time because you will not be able to put it down!

It is a fun book. Not the most well written or edited, but super fun. I read all three books in less than two weeks, because I had a hard time putting it down. I wanted to know what happened next!

Once you get past chapter 3 you’ll be hooked! Yes it’s a bit steamy but it’s also about why the bloke is psychologically messed up. Make sure you buy the second book before you finish the first as it ends on such a cliff hanger you’ll want to know more!!

Enjoy!! :-)

It’s a good ‘beach read’ I guess– not very well written, TONS of overused phrases and misused words. I only got through one and part of two before I gave up because I thought they just weren’t worth it.

Fifty Shades of Grey is like crack! It is pretty poorly written and some of the dialogue made me want to punch myself, but I still couldn’t put it down. I have yet to hear a single person (who has actually read it) say that they didn’t like it.

“some of the dialogue made me want to punch myself”

Hahahaha. Yes. Yes, I can agree wholeheartedly to that.

I feel the same, too! It’s awfully written, stupid and nonsense, but I want to finish it, although its getting harder and harder to keep on following such crap! Sandra Brown and Danielle Steel were like Charles Dickens

Amanda, you couldn’t have said it better, some of the dialogue is just so freakin cheesy but I still love the books. :)

I loved Fifty Shades of Grey and the rest of the series. It can get a little explicit but the story that lies within it really captivated me. Parts of it are poorly written, but if you can over look that you will definitely enjoy it! I’m anxious to hear what you think about it!! Enjoy your day xoxo

One of my new favorite series. The sex parts are a little overdone (by the third book, you’re thinking, alright enough with the damn sex) but the psychological behavior of both characters is interesting to read. I love both characters especially the fact that Ana thinks she can fix Christian. Let me know what you think of it! Enjoy reading!

I loved the fifty shades series and loved that it took place in Seattle. If you finish the first book and enjoy it, be prepared to want to start the second pretty soon after. I’ve read the series more than once and each time it felt like they may as well have combined them into one book because I just couldn’t stop at the end of the first. I suppose that’s a sign of a good book though. =)

Please tell us if the book is worth reading after you finish it. I’ve heard mixed reviews and I don’t know if I should buy it or not…

Hi again ;) I read all three of the books, and loved them. In saying that though, they are simply fun, sexy, easy reads. But after the first book you most likely will be hooked on Christian and Anna’s story, as I was…be forewarned of lots of blushing going on with Anna :) Enjoy the book.

Trivial literature about an unexperienced young girl havib sex with a slightly older rich guy. What areyou trying to tell us?you’re the author? At least surely can relate to this story. There are billions of better, more intelligent books available out there.

Celina June 30, 2012 at 13:10

Wow, unbelievable.. James is two years older than me, major age difference ;) Don’t really see how you can compare James and I to the people in the book as we don’t have much in common, clarely you are looking to spread some negativity and in a despereate attempt you end up just making yourself seem less intelligent.

I think that this is so rude of you! I have read Celina’s blog since November 2010 and I have never gotten the picture that she is some sort of “golddigger” or whatever it is you mean by this comment. She met James at a party by coincidence and they fell in love and he just happened to live in Monaco. I bet that if she wasn’t living in Monaco people wouldn’t just assume that she is only together with him for the money (I have no idea of your financial status Celina nor do I care, and neither should anybody else).

How boring of a life you must live if you feel the need to post such negative and straight out rude comments…

*clearly…

but even with the slight spelling error.. agreed :P.. Ni hao- get a life. There is little to know reference to anything like that on her blog and as this is the only avenue you know anything about her life from… your statement is not only outlandish but just plain stupid. Fair enough say James has a good job and Celina is a (gorgeous) young girl- but 2 years, and a relationship does not a S&M prostitute make… its not negativity that your spreading.. its just pure stupidity.. although it is (slightly) comical.

have a lovely day Celina- love the blog :) x x
