Hey everyone <3
Hope you’re having a great day? Today I finally got to check out the sale at Harvey Nichs which I keep hearing so much about. I think I came just a little too late as it seemed most goodies were gone. Next year I will be the first in line ;) I ended up with a couple of plain t-shirts from Vince and a black blouse by Alice + Olivia, the kind of stuff that is always good to have anyway. I did find a beautiful Burberry coat which wasn’t on sale though. Unfortunately they didn’t have my size but I gave my contact details so hopefully they will give a ring soon!! :D
I haven’t got to tell you what we did yesterday!!! We went to Piccadilly Circus and had a wonder around. We then went for some dinner at Spice Market which was very average to be honest. Fortunately we didn’t go to Piccadilly for the restaurant, we went to Piccadilly to go and see a comedy show and it was hilarious! My cheeks are still sore and I’m sure my mouth has widened even more :D

Tonight we’re going to see The Hobbit in one of those luxury cinemas where you order food and drinks while lying in reclining big leather arm chairs… That’s something I’ve missed in Monaco!! Oh, I love London so much!! SO much :D
Anyone seen the movie?? :)

I love your boots! Where are they from?
Thank you, they are old favourites from Carvela :) I saw Kurt Geiger had a similar pair this year, and yesterday I stumbled upon an identical pair from Christian Louboutin on sale.

Hi Celina!
I am living in London too and I adore this city.
I just wanna ask you a question (I trust your opinion) if you choose a bag;which one do you prefer;Chanel flap bag or Celine Boston or Celine Phantom bag?I want to buy a designer bag but I havent choosen yet
Thank you!
Love

I know I’m not Celina but I have quite a few bags and I would say it depends on your lifestyle.
If you don’t carry much then you might want the Chanel flap, because even though I have a Maxi size, it doesn’t really fit much of my stuff in it. A Chanel is also very expensive in comparison with the Celine’s, a lot of which actually go on the sale.
I also have a mini luggage (boston), which fits far more than I had expected in it and have been using it daily since I got it (work/dinner/clubbing/lunch).If you get a good deal on a Celine e.g. 20-30% promotion day in House of Fraser or 50% sale in Harvey Nich’s you can get your Celine at a fraction of what the Chanel would cost, stick the rest of your bag money (that you would’ve spent on the Chanel) into a savings account and then you can buy another designer handbag at a later point (say 6 months/a year later) and start a collection. I think the luggage tote will be pretty timeless!
My advice would be, always look out for deals! I’ve only purchased my Louis Vuitton and Hermes full price. My Celine’s/Mulberry/Chloe (also have great timeless bags which feature in 50% off sales a lot!)/Balenciaga have all been bought in the sale.
p.s. Only buy a bag you really love! When I see a bag I truly love, I get a funny excited feeling! Sad, but true.
Hi Zeynep!
How exciting you’ve decided to invest in a designer bag! :D
As Laura says it depends on your lifestyle and how you’ll be using the bag. Personally I prefer investing in bags I can use on a daily basis and for me I’ve found the Chanel to be a little impractical for daily use due to its size. For dinners and clubbing it works very well though, and it would work for daily use as well if you don’t normally bring a lot with you.
If you’re like me and you like to bring your whole life with you in your bag (including ipad/laptop/camera ++) then any of the two Celine bags you’ve mentioned will work better. I think the Celine boston is a little more wearable because of its size as it’s not as big as the Phantom (the small phantom isn’t as nice so I presume you’re thinking of the big one?) which can sometimes feel a little heavy and clumpy carrying around. That being said I would never wear any of them for dinners or clubbing.
Best of luck in choosing the right bag! xx
Thank you both of you Laura and Celina!
I am gonna buy Celine Boston bag.Like you said;I carry a lot of thing with me.
I really like your style that is why I asked your opinion.Thank you
I think that sounds like a lovely choice! Have you thought about colour and fabric? :)
Thank you, Zeynep, I feel honoured you value my opinion :)
Oh I love the comedy store AND ronnie scotts. Sunday nights are great at the comedy store – Hillarious!
Do go to Galvins at the Hilton Park Lane for drinks at night, (restaurant is lovely too) you will get some nice photos and the times that I have been there has been a nice atmosphere.
I bet the comedy store is great on Sundays!! :D Thanks for advice sweet :)

Sounds like you had a nice time. Though painful, it sure feels good when your cheeks hurt for the best reasons.
We saw The Hobbit in a theater like that and it was awesome. Great experience. Hope you enjoy it!

Don’t want to sound psyco but I will love to hang out with you, you always seem to go to the most beautifull places. What’s that you eating.? Have a great night
Oh, that is James bringing me to the most beautiful places *blush* :)
We had crispy rice sushi, green curry vegetables, salmon tartare, char grilled chicken with lemon zest, and chicken pad thai. It seemed they were trying to make interesting fusion twists on every dish in the style of Zuma/Nobu ++ but it was just not working :/ Very lovely atmosphere though!

Great to hear you’re having so much fun in London, it sure is a place with thousands of stuff to do all the time.
So bad you didn’t get the Burberry coat, I got so curious to see it!! Love your taste and love, love, love Burberry, so it’s perfection. :P
Thoughts on The Hobbit?
xo
Lia
Hehe, yes I’m having such a great time and my list of things I want to do keeps getting longer ;) I might still get the coat, they would call me if they found it :D
I thought the Hobbit was fun! :) You? xx

London sure does suit you! You look so amazingly happy! I like this really happy look on you :) You manage to look even more beautiful! London is such an amazing city. I’m jealous you get to live there while most of us only get to visit a small amount of time.
How is Linus doing in a new flat? I hope he is making himself at home :)
The Spice Market wasn’t great? I’ve actually heard nice things about that place. Bummer. I hear Zuma has great Japanese food. I also hear great things about Claridge’s for tea or champagne
I LOVE comedy shows! A good laugh is always healthy.
I hope you like the movie. Let us know! I haven’t watched it yet. I also love those luxury movie theaters. Pigging out and having a drink while watching a movie is the best!
Lots of love
Krystle xxoo
Aw, thank you, Krystle!! I feel very fortunate to be able to live here :)
Linus ran in smiling when we got it and he is still running around smiling, I think he likes it!
We wanted to go to the Spice Market because of the great things we’ve heard, but it was a little disappointing.. Zuma is great! They also just opened a Buddha Bar in London which I’m hoping to go to soon too. Claridge’s is lovely for tea and champagne :D
The Hobbit was fun, you should see it. I think anything is fun in 3D though, but James liked it too and he wasn’t too sure about it when I convinced him to go and see it with me.

I’m so happy Linus is at home. I know many dogs sometimes get stressed when traveling and moving to a new space but what am I talking about? (Linus is pretty much a person! A little furry baby :)
Thank you for the Buddha Bar suggestion. I love Asian food sooo much.
I hope you’re having a lovely day in lovely London. I’m headed to the city to go out with friends tonight and my fiancé and I have a suite booked. Pretty excited to have a night on the town. Especially to go dancing. One last celebration before I start my new job on Monday. Wish me luck!!
Lots of love :)
Best of luck, Krystle!! I’m sure you’ll be brilliant!! :D xx
Omg Celina you look really tall looking at a picture where I can compare you to the people around you, lol.
It’s so good to know you are enjoying London so much already! It is indeed such a great cosmopolitan city.
Have you had the chance to go running around (as a workout) Hyde Park or elsewhere? Hope you can tell us about that experience when you can.
Take care Celina, XoXo
Carolina.
Hehe, yes I’m quite surprised by how short most people in London actually are. I don’t mind, I think tall girls are beautiful and I wish I was a little bit taller …I wish I was a baller ;)
I still haven’t gone running this year, and I feel terrible for it! Hopefully I’ll be able to soon when things are a little more sorted, I will tell you about it then :)
xx

I saw The Hobbit and loved it! I hope you enjoy it!
Photos are beautiful Celina! Yes, The Hobbit is an incredible movie if you liked Lord of the Rings. Once again, it exhibits awesome New Zealand in all its beauty and grandeur. I was so proud to be a New Zealander when I watched The Hobbit. Hopefully you enjoyed it :)

London is such a beautiful city! Thanks for sharing your lovely photos. Love your blouse!

Oooh, en slik kinodate høres deilig ut! Du får gi tilbakemelding om hvorvidt filmen lever opp til forventningene…
Fantastiske bilder forresten, for noen farger :D

Takk for svar!

I’ve seen you in this monochrome shirt before and I LOVE it! Pleeeeeeeeease tell me where it’s from, I need it in my life :)
xx
It’s from Mango ♥
I can see that it must be nice to go between the two places, great weather and French culture in Monaco and all that London has to offer, sounds lovely!

Yes, I think it’s going to be lovely to go back to Monaco when the summer comes, and right now I’m absolutely loving London :D I feel incredibly fortunate to be able to live like this!
What camera are you using? I’m guessing it’s not the 7D?
I’m glad you moved to London and that you enjoy it so much. I haven’t been able to drop by as often as I used to (like, daily), but I’m up to date now. My positive thoughts are with you, every day!
take care,
xx
Alex
No this time I used a Canon S95, it’s a lot smaller and a handy size to bring with but I wish the quality was better. If you’re looking to buy a small camera I would check up the new mini DSLR from Canon, it looks great!
Thank you so much, Alex, and same to you xx
Ah, I was slightly bummed about going back to London this weekend after spending Christmas in Norway, but now I’m getting quite excited! Thanks, and have a great time :) xx

Hi Celina,
I’ve been reading your site over a year now & love it & love you!
A friend is searching for vintage bags online & I could’ve sworn I read something on your blog about good/reliable vintage bag sites, but can’t find it anywhere! Could you point me in the right direction?
Thanks!
Hi Amanda!
Thank you for your very kind words, I’m so happy to hear you enjoy the blog and me *blush* :D
I love to browse Vestiaire Collective for all second hand items where some amazing vintage items tend to pop up as well and every product is checked by the store so you’re sure to get authentic items. Vintage Heirloom is also good, though few items at the moment.
Best of luck, hope you’re friend finds what she’s looking for :)
